Epsom salt will work effectively on reducing the inflammation and works on sprains too. Add a cup of Epsom salt to a tub of hot water and mix it well with your hands until the salt dissolves. Crepe Bandage

Wear a tight crepe bandage around your ankle which will create a compression and will make you feel better and will sooth the pain and cure sprain and dislocations etc. if any.
